Reconciliation Retreat day

On Tuesday, 26^th November, Year 3 students participated in a Reconciliation Retreat Day. It was a wonderful day where the children were able to participate in a variety of activities designed to support the learning happening in the classroom. Thank you to Miss Joy and Mr Sloane for joining us on the day.

Sacrament of Reconciliation

Tonight we will have a number of your Year 3 students will join with many of their peers from our parish as they receive the Sacrament of First Reconciliation. The liturgy will be held at 6:30pm at Holy Trinity Church, Curtin. All are warmly invited to attend. 

Thanksgiving Mass

Please join us next Tuesday at 9:30am for our Thanksgiving Mass followed by morning tea. This is an opportunity for us as a school to say thank you to all who volunteer in our community. We are very appreciative of all the support we receive from laminated books, reading with students to cooking BBQs! We hope to see you there.

St Vincent de Paul Social Justice Day

On Friday 22nd November, 9 students from Year 4 and 5 spent the day at ACU to participate in Mini Vinnies Social Justice Day. The St Vincent de Paul Society ran a series of presentations about the services they operate here in the ACT to assist our most vulnerable community members. Our students had a wonderful day and now have a greater understanding of where the donations to the St Vincent de Paul Society go, and how we can be more effective in our fundraising activities. Thank you to Miss Joy who took our students!
