Last Friday Owen F, Ella P, James C and Sara W went on a mini excursion to Manuka as part of a Chief Minister’s Reading Challenge reward.  They travelled by car with Mrs Mertz, had a delicious morning tea and then went to the Paper Chain Bookshop to spend some of the prize money. The money was received for our fantastic efforts in the CMRC for 2020.

Each child picked a book for the school library – Owen chose The Frozen Sea, Ella chose Scarlet and Ivy, James chose E-boy and Sara, Glass shards.

We all had a lovely time and enjoyed our special trip.

Thanks Mrs M for taking us, Mrs Brearley for paying for our morning tea and Paperchain for such a generous prize.
