School Sport ACT Swimming Championships

On Wednesday 28 April, Geoffrey Russell and Grace Fogarty represented our school at the ACT Swimming Championships. It was a great opportunity for them both to compete against other athletes from within the ACT. Well done Geoffrey and Grace.

Walk Safely to School Day

National Walk Safely to School Day is this Friday. Unfortunately, due to the rescheduling of our Athletics Carnival we will not be hosting this event. The day is designed to encourage students to be active and walk, ride or scooter, part or all of their way to school. This might be something that families are keen to organise as a community. Remember to walk safely!

Athletics Carnival

Our annual athletics carnival is rescheduled for this Friday, 14th May. The Carnival is aimed at maximising participation and active involvement of all children K-6. Years Two to Six will rotate through a range of events including sprints, Long Jump and Shot Put, as well as a range of novelty activities. Kindergarten and Year One will participate in a running race and other fun activities. The students are encouraged to wear a house coloured shirt. Thank you to the lovely community members who have volunteers to assist on the day. We would also like to thank the amazing 3/4 Team who have organised this fantastic event.
