This year, the Year 6 Sustainability leaders have been helping with the development of the Dawson Street Gardens opposite to Holy Trinity. They have been planting native plants and, with the help of some passionate Curtin residents, getting a rich understanding of the way in which this space is assisting with sustainability and bringing the biodiversity back to where it was before the suburb was built. 

Last Friday, which was a pupil free day, Josip Spelic presented a speech and planted a plant at the opening ceremony of the garden. He was a great role model representing Holy Trinity and the sustainability group.
