Dear Friends,

This weekend our Parish Community celebrates the Sacrament of First Eucharist with our candidates at 6pm Mass on Saturday night Holy Trinity and Sunday morning at Saints Peter and Paul Church.  Please keep all these children and their families in your prayers as they celebrate a significant event in their faith journey-The Eucharist being the source and the summit of our Catholic faith.

Lord Jesus, You give us Your Body and Blood as a sign that we share your life.  May we continue to grow in love of You, Amen. 

Next week Parent Teacher Interviews (K-2) and Three-Way Conferences (3-6)  are being held from Monday 18^th June – Wednesday 20^th June. These conversations about learning are being held before the written Semester 1 report is sent home.

Parent Teacher Interviews (K-Year 2)  - 15 minutes

Parent-teacher interviews are offered for Kinder to Year 2 students. These interviews are designed to give parents an overview of the students’ engagement, progress and areas for future growth. Parents are encouraged to seek clarification of any areas of concern or seek advice at these interviews.

Three-Way Conferences (Years 3-6) – 15 minutes

Three-way conferences involve the student, parents and teacher. Students discuss their learning and understanding with their parents and teacher, who are responsible for supporting the student through this process. Students could reflect upon work samples that they have chosen to share. The student, the parents and the teacher collaborate to establish and identify the student’s strengths and areas for improvement. This may lead to the setting of new goals, with all participants determining how they can support the achievement of the goals.

If parents would like to discuss an issue without their child present, the student can be excused from the room at that point of the conference.
