Welcome to Week 5,

For the past four weeks the Year 2 classes have been unpacking and recreating Indigenous Dreamtime Stories – Dunbi the Owl, How the Birds got their Colours, The Kangaroo and the Porpoise and finally The Bat and the Crocodile. This work tied in with their UOI on Stories are shared through our traditions.

To complete the unit, yesterday in library lessons the very excited Year 2 classes presented their Dreamtime Booklets to the Kinder and Year One classes. It was such a special time. The Year 2 children were so proud of their work and the younger grades were the perfect audience.

Last but least next week (Week 6) is our last week of borrowing library books for 2023. All books are then due back in Week 7.
