Countdown to Christmas Fete a huge success!

Word on the playground is that the Fete was amazing - so much to see, do and eat! We were lucky the weather started to fade to ensure we could carry on with this major event. Thank you for supporting this event, whether you donated to help our stalls, sold raffle tickets or volunteered on the day - we could not have done it without your efforts. Many of you are asking how much money we raised, and we are thrilled to report the amount is around $70,000! We will be using this money to upgrade the school oval and contribute to upgrading the two outdoor playgrounds. Thank you Tanya and Luke Chamberlain from C&C Painting Group who put in a lot of effort in organising and running the raffle. The raffle raised over $40,000! We would also like to thank the teachers and support staff who have helped with organising the fete, allowing us to use their classrooms for storage and set up. In particular, we would like to thank Rose Lee, Michael Prosper and Philippa Brearley who attended every evening Fete meeting and provided guidance and support to the many questions and ideas from the committee. We would also like to thank our sponsors of the fete - the support from our sponsors was amazing and contributed to the fundraising efforts in various ways, so thank you.  A huge thank you to Ginny Tapia and Sarah Mills for coordinating the fete on behalf of the committee and school - the amount of hours and planning behind the scenes is valued and recognised. The overall feedback from the community has been positive, so thank you for taking the reins. With only 2 weeks left of the school year, it is time to think about school uniform items needed for 2024! The uniform shop is open every Tuesday during the odd weeks of the term, and provides new and quality second-hand items.
