School Holiday Seuss Fun

Our 48 week children had a magical time during our school holiday program. The children and staff explored a different Dr Seuss book each day and enjoyed varied activities and experiences - embracing their inner Dr Seuss!

From experimenting with oobleck, to eating green eggs (pancakes) and turning a table upside on Wacky Wednesday. As well as creating animal prints and considering what pet we would like at home - the holidays had it all.

After reading The Cat in the Hat, the children engaged in a deep conversation, guided by thought provoking questions... Should the children have trusted the Cat or listened to their mother? How important is it to tidy up our environment after we make a mess? Should the children tell their mother what they did during the day? It was great to witness the children responding with good understandings of being safe, trusted,responsible and honest.

Hats, Hats, Hats

Our SunSmart policy states that all children and staff are required to wear hats when outside from August to May each year. Please ensure your child has a clearly labelled hat each day and support them in applying sunscreen when they arrive in the morning.
