Hi All, 

Book Week Celebrations for 2024 are well and truly under way. 

The theme for this year is Reading is Magic.  

It’s our favourite week of the year with lots of fun activities being completed in the library as a build up to announcing the ‘Winner, Winner Chicken Dinner’ for each of the six categories. 

In Week 3 (next week) - The fabulous R.A.Spratt. will be here on Monday, 5th August to work with our 3/4 and 5/6 classes. 

In Week 5 - We will begin our actual Book Week celebrations… On Monday,19th August, we have been lucky enough to book the frightfully famous and very talented Micheal Webb aka Magic Mike to entertain us all for an hour or so. Micheal is a past student of HT, his mother Anne Webb was a teacher here for many years and Micheal still has a nephew at HT – so many family connections to our little school. 

On Wednesday, 21st August @ 9.10am on the tennis courts (weather permitting) we will have our Book Week Parade. 

In Week 6, (Friday, 30th August) we have the talented Aura Parker  here for the entire day working with all classes. 

Last but not least, Scholastic Book Club Catalogues were sent home last week. All orders need to be in by Monday 12th August (Week 4).
