Feast of Transfiguration

The Feast of Transfiguration took place this week on Tuesday 6 August. This year marks 30 years of our parish. This year, Sts Peter & Paul, Garran hosted all our Holy Trinity students from Kinder – Year 6 for a fun-filled day of celebration. We enjoyed making connections with our buddy classes, attending mass celebrated by Fr John and a delicious lunch provided for both staff and students. Thank you to Sts Peter & Paul staff and students for their warm welcome and generous hospitality. We look forward to returning the favour next year!

Mini Vinnies Winter Appeal

A reminder that our Year 6 Community Leaders are currently promoting the Mini Vinnies Winter Appeal. Please see the flyer below made by our year 6 leaders. We are collecting donations of warm clothing and non-perishable items to help those in need in our community this winter. Each classroom has a basket ready to fill with your dontations. Thank you for your generosity to St Vincent De Paul and the great work they do in our area.

Feast of the Assumption – Thursday 15 August

The Feast of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary is next Thursday 15 August. Our Year 3-6 students will attend the parish mass at the Holy Trinity Church at 9:30am. Parents are most welcome to attend.

Family Engagement in Prayer

Claire Mass, our school Youth Minister has prepared some suggestions for families to engage with prayer and faith formation at home. Claire is looking forward to working with our Year 6 Youth Ministry Group and being more involved in classrooms this term.

Sacrament of First Eucharist

If you have not done so already, please remember to register your child to make this sacrament via the QKR! App.

A reminder to:

  • Please select a Home Group. Thank you very much to parents who have volunteered to be a home group leader.
  • Please choose a Mass for your child to receive the Sacrament of First Eucharist.
