Mitch Tambo

Australian Music Star.

To say it was an honour and privilege doesn't quiet sum up our gratitude and joy that we experienced during Mitch's recent visit to Holy Trinity.

Mitch Tambo is a proud Gamilarray man, who skilfully blends traditional Aboriginal sounds and language with contemporary beats and production. Amongst celebrating cultural diversity and engaging with identity and self-belief, Mitch aims to empower children to make strong positive choices for their life.

Before singing his hit single, Heal, Mitch spoke about his own discoveries of healing and what it means to heal both individually and as a nation.

Zoo Provocation

Following our visit to the National Zoo and Aquarium, we were keen to hear from the children about what sparked their interest. The children were invited to share with each other what they noticed at the zoo and what it made them wonder.

Providing children with the space to notice - through all of their senses - encourages development of observation skills, which is a critical component of the learning process. Extending from this observation, the opportunity to wonder stimulates curiosity by questioning deeply and seeking answers.

Hats, Hats, Hats

Our SunSmart policy states that all children and staff are required to wear hats when outside from August to May each year. Please ensure your child has a clearly labelled hat each day and support them in applying sunscreen when they arrive in the morning.
