Opening Mass
Last Friday we gathered as a school community to celebrate the beginning of the 2025 school year. We came together, asking God to bless our school community as we began another year growing in faith, hope and love.
Our school’s spiritual theme for this year is 'Pilgrams of Hope. Pope Francis has asked us to celebrate this year with a deep faith, lively hope and active charity. This means he wants each one of us to celebrate this year by trusting in God, looking forward with hope, and showing love to others through kind and caring actions
We also welcomed our Year 6 families, as our Year 6 leaders received their leadership badges. We asked God’s blessing on our new school leaders, praying that they will lead us with strong, empathetic, generous, and loving hearts.
Thank you Father James for leading our school in a beautiful Mass and to our Year 6 teachers for their on going support and guidance of our Year 6 leaders for 2024.

Sacrament of Reconciliation
Thank you to our Year 3 parents who attended the Reconciliation Parent Information Night last week. It was a great information session and we look forward to the Home Groups starting soon. Workbooks to be sent home tomorrow if you have registered and signed up for a home group. Any further enquiries can be directed to the Parish Office ( 6281 3999/ wodennorth@cg.org.au )
Parent Sacramental Learning Opportunity
A reminder to our parents of students in Year 3 or above who are making their First Reconciliation this year, that there is an opportunity, next Tuesday night at 6pm, to learn more about the Sacrament that your child will be receiving this year. The Sacrament of Reconciliation is one of the two sacraments of healing, and therefore it is helpful if there is a good grounding and understanding of the sacrament. I encourage all parents to attend. If you are interested please email - emily.capper@cg.catholic.edu.au
