Feast of Transfiguration

The Feast of the Transfiguration was celebrated yesterday, Wednesday 6 August. This year also marks the 31st anniversary of our parish - a wonderful milestone in our community’s journey.

To mark the occasion, Holy Trinity was delighted to welcome students from Sts Peter & Paul’s for a joyful day of celebration. The day was filled with meaningful connections as buddy classes came together, a beautiful Mass celebrated by Fr James, and a delicious lunch enjoyed by both staff and students.

Our amazing team of parent helpers made today’s sausage sizzle lunch possible for all 727 students - no small feat! We are so grateful to Rochelle, Tasso, Luke and Simon for your time, energy and teamwork. We truly couldn’t have done it without you!

A heartfelt thank you to the staff and students of Sts Peter & Paul for joining us and contributing to such a memorable day. We look forward to returning the visit and celebrating together again next year!

Sacrament of First Eucharist

Thank you very much to parents who were able to attend the First Eucharist Information Night on Tuesday via MS Teams. We appreciate your time and involvement.

If you have not done so already, a reminder to please register your child to make this sacrament via the North Woden Transfiguration Parish QKR! App.

We kindly ask you to complete the following forms as soon as possible:

• Home Group Selection Form – Please choose a home group for your child to participate in.
• Mass Selection Form – Please select a Mass for your child to receive the Sacrament.

Catholic Inquiry Program – An Invitation…

Sometimes people wonder about what Catholics believe and how they live their faith. Sometimes they feel shy about asking these questions. At Holy Trinity Church we are starting an inquiry group for people who are not Catholic but who are searching for answers. This inquiry group will start on Tuesday 19th August 7:30pm in the Parish Centre and will go for 4 weeks. This opportunity may be for you, or someone you know, and may pave the way to the Rite of Christian Initiation Adults (RCIA) program.
