Children's Week Community picnic
Last Friday the ELC hosted a picnic in the community greenspace, welcoming children from Peter Pan and Teddy Bear day care centres. (photos below) Thanks to the Keneally family for providing electricity for the jumping castle.
Orientation in the ELC
Preschoolers attending Kinder orientation on Tuesday 6 November do not sign-in to preschool prior to orientation, but at 11am when orientation is complete. The ELC will also be holding orientation sessions on Tuesday 6 November, 9.30-11am (Ground Parrots) and Wednesday 7 November, 9.30-11am (Black Cockatoos), 11.30am-1pm (Rock Wallabies).
2019 Before and After School Care
The ELC is now taking enrolments for 2019, for Kinder and Year One students. Priority is for preschool children, siblings of preschool children and then Kinder and Year One students if space is available.
Donations
The ELC is looking for donations of size 4-6 pants and shorts for our emergency clothes collection.
Tea Towels
The preschoolers have created a gorgeous tea towel as a memento of their time at the ELC. The tea towels feature each child's drawing of themselves. A sample image of the tea towel and order form will be distributed next week, $15 per tea towel or 3 for $40 or 5 for $65. The tea towels make great Christmas gifts for family and friends too.
Stay and Play
Every Wednesday morning from 9am-10am in the ELC Playground during school term. Pre-preschoolers and their parents, grandparents and carers all very welcome.
