Athletics Carnival

The students enjoyed a fun filled day at Curtin Oval at our recent Athletics Carnival. All students from 2-6 had the opportunity to participate in track and field events. Kinder and Year 1 joined the school for the day and participated in a variety of novelty events. One of the highlight events was the ELC-Year 1 races. All students did their best in all events. Red House took out the Spirit Cup on the day and Gold House were the championship winners. Thank you again to all the teachers and parents who assisted throughout the day.

South Weston and ACT Cross Country Championships

Last week on Monday 3^rd June, 47 students represented our school at the South Weston Cross Country Carnival. Well done to all these athletes who ran their best in wet cold conditions at Stromlo Forest Park. Congratulations to Maggie P, Mary B, Madison T, Eleanor C, Ben S and Charlotte S who qualified for the ACT Cross County Championships that was held yesterday, 12 June. Huge kudos to Madison T who placed 2^nd for the 9 year old girls.

Tennis Clinics

All classes are currently participating in tennis clinics provided by the talented coaches for Tennis Canberra. The tennis courts will be available on Wednesdays and Fridays before school. Please feel free to have a game with your children from 8:30am on these days.
