Last Saturday, Mr Sloan and I had the privilege of taking 8 members (Year 6 team: Sam M, Christian G, Oscar H, AJ S and Year 5 team: Harry O, Asha WW, Isabella K, Olivia M) from our HT Robotics and Coding Club to Daramalan for an engineering and scrimmage session with other schools. Our teams were able to collaborate and compete with high school students using our VEX robots, Legend and Sputnik Mk3.

'I felt really comfortable with the people because they also loved engineering and robotics. It was fun looking at all the different capabilities and designs of other robots' AJ S

'I liked how we could battle and then return to rebuild and engineer our robot. It was nice to be able to share parts with other teams.' Oscar H

We are looking forward to our next scrimmage at St. Clare's College on Saturday 26th October.
