Poppy The Story Dog
In Weeks One and Two a number of students from 2 Red and 2 Green have been enjoying reading with visiting Story Dog Poppy and her handler Bethwyn.
Story Dogs is a fun and unique reading support program that improves children’s reading and communication skills by children reading to a trained companion dog and its handler.
The students have very much enjoyed reading to Poppy, teaching her new tricks and sharing their experiences with their classmates.
