Come, Holy Spirit,
fill the hearts of your faithful.
And kindle in them the fire of your love.
Send forth your Spirit and they shall be created.
And you will renew the face of the earth.
Lord,
by the light of the Holy Spirit
you have taught the hearts of your faithful.
In the same Spirit
help us to relish what is right
and always rejoice in your consolation.
We ask this through Christ our Lord.
Amen.
Dear Friends,
The prayer above, focusing on the Holy Spirit was shared with parents of our Confirmation candidates at last week's information session. Please keep in your thoughts and prayers the children in our Parish community currently preparing for this Sacrament to be celebrated in June. A particular thank you to parents who are hosting home groups- home groups are a wonderful opportunity to connect with other families and share this sacramental journey together.
It was also wonderful seeing so many parents reconnect at our Mother's Day stall and working bee last Friday, especially many new parents to our community! Thank you so much for all your hard work, firstly making many children happy with present choice and in the afternoon ensuring areas in our playground and ELC are maintained. I especially enjoyed watching our students with their parents helping with the shovelling and the gardening! I also hope all the mothers in our community enjoyed their day on Sunday and the special treats!
Last Friday also saw our first fundraiser for our GSP school community, Evaland Hekima. Footy Fever was certainly well received and thank you for your generosity. Below is an updated newsletter from the GSP Board detailing what they are currently spending our donations on. Details of the other fundraiser themes for the remainder of the term are set out below in the RE News section.
A reminder to our families with siblings coming to Holy Trinity ELC or Kindergarten in 2023 that we are half way through the enrolment period and we have had extensive applications already for both places. Enrolment applications need to be completed on line via our website as soon as possible.
Thank you to families who continue to report to me if they have a COVID case in their household. More RAT tests are available for families at the front office, as testing is required every 48 hours for close contacts. As stated in the Road Map shared with families recently, unfortunately parents are still not allowed in the buildings without an appointment.
Have a wonderful weekend and a peace-filled week ahead with your beautiful families. Please do not hesitate to reach out for anything at all and continue to stay safe.
