Dear Community of Holy Trinity,
This weekend our students who are preparing to receive their First Eucharist will be presented to the Parish community of The Transfiguration. Everyone is warmly invited to attend our Parish Mass on Saturday at 6pm.
We pray for our children.
“May you always know the peace of Jesus, the light of His love, and the joy of His life within you.”
The readings this weekend also encourage us to choose Christ always. At times when we come to the crossroad of life, we become confused because we need to make choices that will make or mar our future.
In spite of all odds, choosing to remain with Christ is, and will always be, the best choice of anyone who is wise.
ALL THINGS PYP
At Holy Trinity Primary School we have a rich cultural heritage.
Earlier this year we sought information from our families on the diverse nature of the cultural heritages within our community. We are now proud to fly the flags of all these countries that represent our community.

A warm ‘welcome’ in all the languages representative of our school is also proudly front and centre as you enter our school. This display builds a sense of belonging for all our students and families.
If you haven’t seen either of these display in our school, we encourage you to pop in soon. They are both truly spectacular.
Exhibition
The Year 6 Exhibition represents a significant event in the life of an International Baccalaureate (IB) Primary Years Program (PYP) student. The Exhibition is a chance for students to share their learning with the whole school community.
The Exhibition is a culmination experience, which presents the opportunity for students to exhibit all the elements of the PYP; Knowledge, Skills, Attitudes, Concepts and Action. Within these elements we strive to develop our students into internationally minded, life-long learners.
Our Year 6 (Year 5 students undertake a mini exhibition) will commence working on a variety of aspects of the Exhibition in Week 7, and will continue to delve further into their inquiries into Term 4. We will celebrate Exhibition on Wednesday 14th November.
This years transdisciplinary theme is Where we are in Place and Time: An exploration of our orientation in place and time; of our personal histories and geographies; homes and journeys; the discoveries, explorations and migrations of humankind; the relationships between and the interconnectedness of individuals and civilisations, from local and global perspectives.
We encourage any member of our community who may have first-hand knowledge of migration, exploration, technological advancement or whom work within the field to contact us if you would feel that you could add to this Unit of Inquiry. Please email Katie.
Peace and Best Wishes
Katie
