"For I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me drink, I was a stranger and you welcomed me, I was naked and you clothed me, I was sick and you visited me, I was in prison and you came to me. Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me."
Dear Friends,
Welcome to Week 2, where we began on Monday with a reflection by 3 Green on Service, beginning with the prayer above. At Holy Trinity, I am daily grateful for the acts of service and care that I see from so many in our community and I thank you for all you give to each other and our community.
Speaking of giving, there has been so much preparation and time given to planning for out upcoming fete. Thank you to all the stallholders and fete committee members who attended our stallholders meeting last night. Thank you also to our incredibly generous sponsors and to Josie and Tanya who have spent an enormous amount of time sourcing sponsors and organising our raffle. You will see this afternoon when your child brings home a book of raffle tickets each, what generous prizes we have for this fund raising and I thank you in advance for your help selling these tickets. Please see below from Tanya important information about the selling and also about the prizes for families who sell the most tickets!!!

As well as the fete, there are many other special events that happen in Term 4. Can I please encourage you to continue to check our school calendar on the website and our weekly important dates article in the newsletter. Please note that as we have many P and F events on, we will not be having a special tuckshop day in Week 5. This has been taken off the calendar.
Term 4 also brings with it detailed planning for 2024. Next week in the newsletter I will be discussing the process for class allocation 2024 and our school policy about this. To help with this process, could I ask that families planning to leave Holy Trinity at the end of this year, (other than our Year 6 students), please fill in the form below- ( If you have completed this form last term, you do not need to fill in again):

Yearbook Cover Art Competition
2023 Yearbook Cover Competition
Calling all artists!
This year we are holding a compeittion to design the cover of our Holy Trinity Yearbook. Our theme for the year has been 'Walking Together', using this as your inspiration we invite entries from Kindergarten to Year 6.
Your design can be black and white or colour and needs to be on an A4 sheet of white paper or card.
Entries need to be submitted to Mrs Sheargold by Friday October 27. The winning entry will be on the cover of the 2023 Yearbook.
National Netball Championships
Holy Trinity would like to congratulate both Grace Fogarty and Erin Reily. Both girls we’re selected from over 100 participants to represent the ACT in the U12 National Netball Championships in Perth (Week 9 Term 3).
They did really well where they won 4 games and had some very narrow losses. ACT lost to Victoria by only 5 goals. Victoria went on to be crowned the National Champions and were undefeated throughout the championship.
Grace and Erin were exceptional roles models for Holy Trinity, demonstrating outstanding sportsmanship, integrity and fantastic skill.
