Dear families and carers,
This week we welcomed our teaching and learning coach, Sharyn Angel, from Queensland to share her insights around teaching and learning at Holy Trinity. As life long learners our staff are continually growing in knowledge and understanding of how students learn, and how we can support our learners to achieve their potential. Sharyn has been working with Holy Trinity over the past few years and we continue to embrace her knowledge and guidance for our school. It was wonderful to welcome Mrs Brearley back for the day, the students were very excited to see her in their classrooms and share their stories of the past 2 terms.
Father's Day Breakfast
Last Friday we held our Fathers Day breakfast, these events do not happen without the wonderful support of our Community Council. A huge thank you to the organisers, Michelle & Steph, and the many volunteers at breakfast and for our Father's Day Stall. It was beautiful to watch the students select a present that they believed their Dad would love! We hope all our dads had a wonderful celebration of love and appreciation.
Tennis ACT Awards
Last weekend Mr Roweth and Mr O'Rourke were invited to the 2024 Tennis ACT Awards Presentation. Holy Trinity were awarded the Most Outstanding School, this is only possible with the dedication and enthusiasm of our teaching team, a well deserved award for our school!
The Great Book Swap
Special thanks to Mr Montesin, the ELC, and The Reconciliation Group who orgainsed and facilitated the Great Book Swap yesterday. It was amazing to see our entire school walk through the ELC to find a new read! Thanks for the many families that donated books and money, raising funds to provide books for Idigenous students.
