As Term 3 ends, it’s a perfect moment to reflect on the exciting and productive few months we’ve had at Holy Trinity. This term has been rich with memorable experiences, including Assemblies, Prayer Celebrations, Incursions, and Excursions, and we’ve celebrated special events like Book Week and the Sacrament of Eucharist. We have also had students representing our school in various sporting events and academic challenges demonstarting the diversity of experiences our students participate in.
As I meet with new families hoping to join our community I speak about the wonderful staff we have at Holy Trinity who care deeply about our learners, but also of the wonderful parent community that support their children, and the staff in everything we do. Last Friday was a perfect example of the strength in our community, with so many grandparents and special friends joining us for our celebration. I hope all our staff find time to rest and rejuvenate during the break. Hopefully families will also find some down time, with opportunities to reconnnect and slow down before our final term for 2024.
Last weekend our 3 Tournament of Minds Teams representated Holy Trinity in the ACT finals. We placed 1st, 2nd and 3rd in the challenges. Congratulations to all our students and best wishes to the STEM team who have made it through to the International Finals in Sydney next term. It was fabulous to have so many of our staff there to cheer the students on.
Tomorrow we will have our final awards assembly for Term 3 at 2:30pm.
We are all looking forward to popping on the boots and hat and heading to the Country and Western disco tonight. Please remember to enter via the front doors of the school and our collection point at the end of the disco will be via the back entry only. A huge thank you to DJ Feerick, the staff and the Community Council for supporting this exciting event.
Please note 1 change in dates for Term 4, the Colour Run fundraiser will now be held in Week 5 November 15, with more details to come early next term.
