Interest and Pursuits Hour Returns!
We are delighted to announce the relaunch of our popular "Interest and Pursuits" initiative for 2025! Originally developed by our Year 6 leaders last year, this program is now expanding to include all students from Kindergarten through Year 6.
Every Friday from 12:40 PM to 1:40 PM, students participate in their chosen interest area from among 20 different experiences. These activities are designed to enhance student well-being, strengthen relationships across year levels, and provide opportunities to explore interests beyond the curriculum.
Our first Interest and Pursuits Hour session begins Friday, 9th May.
Students have selected from a diverse range of 20 engaging passions including art, bike riding, media arts, and other creative pursuits. Experiences are supervised by our staff and tailored to specific year levels, with many options spanning K-6 while others are designed for particular age groups.
For interests that involve leaving school grounds, parents must complete and return consent forms by Thursday, 15th May. Without explicit permission, students will be reassigned to on-site activities.
We look forward to continuing this engaging initiative and seeing our students thrive as they explore their interests and build new skills!
* If anyone has any puzzles at home that they no longer need, we would LOVE to have them for Interest and Pursuits. These can be dropped to Miss Capper or at the Front Office.
Global Schools Partners - Term 2 Fundraising
This term, Holy Trinity will continue its long standing support for our partner school in Kenya, Evaland Hekima. Over the past eight years, we have developed a meaningful partnership with Evaland Hekima, contributing to vital improvements such as access to running water, toilet facilities, a library, and a range of essential teaching resources.
We are excited to launch three fund-raising events this term, beginning with our Coin Heart Challenge. We invite students to bring in any spare change to help form a coin heart. The class that creates the largest heart will win a special surprise!
Coin donations can be brought in starting Monday, 12 May, to their classroom teachers and the coin hearts will be assembled on Friday, 16 May.
See below for our other fund-raisers this term.
Congratulations to students celebrating their birthday this week:Henri R, Lana K, Cooper B, Sophie C, Karma D and Miles V. Have a fabulous birthday.
New Direct Debit Payment Option Coming Soon!
New Direct Debit Payment Option Coming Soon!
We are pleased to announce that Holy Trinity has recently introduced the BPoint Enterprise Solution to manage direct debit arrangements for the payment of school fees.
What is BPoint and What Do You Need to Do?
BPoint is a secure Commonwealth Bank payment processing platform designed to facilitate online payments, while ensuring the highest security standards. This system safeguards your financial information using industry-leading security measures.
Our new direct debit platform will allow you to pay school fees using either a bank account or a credit card (excluding AMEX). Please note that payments made via credit card will incur a 0.5% surcharge.
Establishing Direct Debits.
Very soon, families will receive an email outlining estimated weekly, fortnightly, and monthly repayment options to ensure all fees are paid by the end of the year. These amounts will also include any outstanding 2024 balances.
What next?
You will receive an email that will provide a start date for direct debits and options for selecting your preferred payment frequency. Once a payment frequency is selected, you will be directed to enter your bank/credit card details. Once the information is entered, you will receive an email from no-reply@bpoint.com.au . The email will contain two links,
1. The first link requires confirmation of the direct debit arrangement. Please note that the link will expire within 7 days.
2. The second link provides a copy of the eDDRSA for your records.
While using the direct debit payment option is not compulsory, many families find it helpful in staying up to date with their financial obligations.
For any questions or further assistance, please contact NIkki at our front office.
