LIBRARY NEWS
On Tuesday of Week 7 Year 3 – 6 will be spending an hour with author and adventurer Tim Cope. This is an exciting opportunity for Holy Trinity and it fits perfectly in with the philosophy of an IB school.
Tim will be doing a 50-minute presentations for young readers on his three-and-a-half-year, 10,000 kilometre odyssey from Mongolia to Hungary. This is an epic story filled with courage, stamina and heart and, above all, the extraordinary friendship between Tim and his best friend, a dog named Tigon.
The unlikely tale that unfolded has become a much-loved ABC TV series, a best-selling book (On the Trail of Genghis Khan), and has just been released as memoir for young adults.
To coincide with the release of Tim & Tigon, Tim will be touring schools across Australia from September 2019 until the end of 2020.
