Confirmation 

Congratulations to all our Confirmation Candidates who on Sunday, completed the final of their initiation Sacraments.

Uniting us firmly with Christ, the Sacrament is a sending out; pouring into us the powers of the Holy Spirit to help us respond to God's call. We continue to keep these candidates in our prayers, that the strength of the Holy Spirit's Grace will pierce their hearts and work in meaningful ways throughout their life.

As Catholics the Sacrament of Confirmation is a time when we can all ask ourselves 'Are WE living our lives to the full, with the Grace of the Holy Spirit poured out to us at Confirmation?'

A special thank you to all the parents, staff, families and parish who supported the children through this Sacrament; and to Monsignor John Woods and Archbishop Christopher Prowse, who have guided the children through the past few weeks.

                         

                         

GSP Cake Stall 

Thank you to the delicious sweet treats that our thoughtful Year 1 and Year 2 families made and decorated for our cake stall on Tuesday. We raised just over $700, which brings our total up to about $2700 raised this term!!! This money will go towards the water tank for Evaland Hekima. 

GSP Talent Show 

Don’t forget to hand your entry envelope (with your entry form and fee) into the front office before tomorrow. Auditions, if needed, will be held Tuesday and Wednesday next week. 

Fred Ward- Festival Week 

On Tuesday afternoon students from 5/6 White assisted the staff at Fred Ward Gardens to help the residents participate in activities as part of their Festival Week. Below is an extract from an email from the staff at Fred Ward Gardens.

Just wanted to thank you and the children for a wonderful afternoon of fun. The manners and kindness of your students towards our residents is a credit to your school and their parents.......... Please pass on a big thank you to all the children from the residents of Fred Ward Gardens.
