Holy Trinity did a fabulous job with the CMRC this year and we were successful in completing the challenge in all categories. – Year 5/6, Year 3/4 and ELC – Year 2. Congratulations to us all.

As a result of our efforts three great readers and myself were invited to attend the CMRC award ceremony.

Yesterday, Audrey, Sam, Alice and yours truly went to the National Library with 20 other schools and received our certificate and book vouchers from Paper Chain in Manuka. It was frightfully glamorous; speeches, special guests, including the Chief Minister, Canberra authors, official photos, musical ensembles and afternoon tea.

To finish up, I then took the three children to Paper Chain Bookstore in Manuka to purchase a few books with our winnings and we then had a quick milkshake.

Audrey, Sam and Alice are not only wonderful readers but also were perfect ambassadors for our school. God Bless gorgeous children.
