On Friday we had a fabulous day with all candidates and Year 4 students attending the First Eucharist Retreat day. This was a time of prayer, reflection and developing a deeper understanding of the significance of the sacrament. Thank you to all who supported our students.

Bishop Pat Power

We have learnt, very sadly, that Bishop Pat Power passed away on Monday morning, aged 83. He was the Auxiliary Bishop for the Canberra/Goulburn Archdiocese. Known to many Canberrans, Bishop Pat has been a bishop for 40 years, and has been an incredible support to many, many people.

• Vigil Mass - Tuesday 23 September at 7pm at St Raphael’s Church, 47 Lowe St, Queanbeyan 
• Funeral Mass - Wednesday 24 September 2025 at 11am at St Christopher’s Cathedral, Franklin Street, Manuka 
• Burial - Woden Cemetery following the Funeral Mass
