We have had a wonderful ICT start to 2019 with all students effectively and safely using technology in their classrooms.
Some grades have been using BeeBots to enhance student learning by building decision making skills, measurement and applying directional language. Other grades have been interacting with various apps to design, create and publish work during our inquiries.
All classes are connected to families via Seesaw and we really appreciate those parents who have been giving feedback to their children using constructive and positive comments.
Coding and Robotics
We have had approx. 30 students in Years 3-6 participating in our lunch time robotics and coding club every Wednesday. The students have been building robots using LEGO We Do ™ ready for Battle Bot rounds, constructing a VEX robot for an out of school scrimmage, instructing BeeBots and have been coding Sphero’s to do amazing things. We have really enjoyed those students who have brought in their own robots to show off their skills to others.
The MOMO Challenge

So…...this may be an excellent time to install a filtering and monitoring system onto your devices. Many families already have these installed at Holy Trinity.
