Parish School Mass

Congratulations to the students who were presented to the community last weekend in preparation for their First Eucharist next week. The Sacrament of First Eucharist is next Saturday 15th June. We would love to see you there to support the candidates. 

Also a big thank you to our 5/6 families who catered supper. It was lovely to see so many of you join us after mass.

First Eucharist Retreat

Next Thursday 13th June, our Year 4 students will be taking part in their First Eucharist Retreat. Students are asked to bring a plate to share for morning tea as we will have students from other schools in our Parish joining us for the day. Students are also welcome to wear free dress for the day. 

Global Schools Partners

This Friday Year 1 and 2, will be hosting a Movie Day from 1:30pm in the hall. Students are asked to bring in a gold coin (and pillow!) if they would like to attend. Students will also be able to purchase a packet of chips for a gold coin donation.

Global Schools Trivia Night

All are invited to the Global Schools Trivia Night. Enter tables of parents and friends. This year there will be a student trivia competition running parallel to the adults, just for primary school students in our inter-school trivia competition!

Date: Friday June 14th 2019

Time: 6 pm for 6.30 pm start to 8.30 pm

Venue: Holy Trinity Primary School, School hall

Theme: Colourful Africa or Your school’s colours

From the Parish

Marriage & Family Sunday Mass will be celebrated at the regular 11am Mass at St Christopher’s Cathedral in Manuka next Sunday 2^ndJune and will include a Renewal of Marriage Vows for all who wish to participate. No need to register. Just turn up an join in.

Marriage as Mission Lunch, Expo and Forum, next Sunday 2^nd June 12pm-3pm Manuka. Registrations essential athttp://bit.ly/marriage_mission2019 $10 donation at the door.  Billeting available for couples from regional areas. Calling all married couples to gather for 12-1pm Lunch and Marriage Expo, followed by a Marriage as Mission Forum. Guest speakers Joe & Louise Zavone plus representations from various groups, ministries and agencies involved in marriage formation and support. St Peter Chanel - You are welcome to join the community at St Peter Chanel in Yarralumla each Sunday for Mass at 930am. On the first Sunday of each month, Mass will be followed by morning tea.
